Author Guidelines

NEXUS: Global Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (NGJMR)

1. General Requirements

• Manuscripts must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
• The journal accepts submissions written in English.
• Submissions must align with the journal’s multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary scope.
• Authors are responsible for ensuring the clarity, accuracy, and academic quality of their manuscripts.

2. Types of Manuscripts Accepted

• Original Research Articles
• Review Articles (Systematic / Literature Review)
• Conceptual Papers
• Case Studies

3. Manuscript Structure

Manuscripts should be prepared using the following structure:

a. Title

• Concise and informative (maximum 15–20 words)

b. Author Information

• Full name(s)
• Institutional affiliation(s)
• Email address (corresponding author required)

c. Abstract

• 150–250 words
• Should include: background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusion

d. Keywords

• 3–5 keywords

e. Introduction

• Background and research context
• Research gap and objectives

f. Methods

• Research design
• Data collection techniques
• Data analysis methods

g. Results and Discussion

• Presentation of findings
• Interpretation and comparison with previous studies

h. Conclusion

• Summary of key findings
• Implications and recommendations

i. References

• Minimum 15–25 references
• At least 70% from recent international journals (last 5–10 years)

4. Formatting Guidelines

• File format: Microsoft Word (.doc/.docx)
• Font: Times New Roman, size 12 pt
• Line spacing: 1.5
• Margins: 2.5 cm on all sides
• Manuscript length: 5,000–8,000 words
• Use APA 7th Edition referencing style

5. Citation and References

• Authors are strongly encouraged to use reference management software such as:
  • Mendeley
  • Zotero
• All references must follow APA 7th Edition style
• Include DOI for all references where available

6. Tables and Figures

• Tables and figures must be numbered consecutively
• Each table/figure must include a clear title and source (if applicable)
• Ensure high-quality resolution and readability

7. Plagiarism Policy

• All submissions will be screened using plagiarism detection software
• Maximum similarity index: 20%
• Manuscripts exceeding the limit may be rejected or returned for revision

8. Submission Process

• Manuscripts must be submitted via the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform
• Authors must register and log in before submission
• All required metadata (authors, title, abstract, keywords) must be completed

9. Peer Review Process

• All submissions undergo a double-blind peer review process
• Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers
• Estimated review time: 2–4 weeks
• Editorial decisions: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject

10. Article Processing Charges (APC)

• Submission Fee: Free
• Publication Fee: Free (initial stage policy)

11. Ethical Considerations

Authors must ensure that:

• The manuscript is free from plagiarism
• Data is accurate and not fabricated or manipulated
• All sources are properly cited
• All co-authors have approved the submission

12. Template Requirement

Authors are required to use the official journal template for manuscript preparation to ensure consistency in formatting and style.
