NEXUS: Global Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (NGJMR)

Overview

NEXUS: Global Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (NGJMR) implements a rigorous double-blind peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of all published manuscripts. Both authors and reviewers remain anonymous throughout the review process.

1. Initial Submission Screening

Upon submission, manuscripts undergo an initial evaluation by the editorial team to ensure:

  • Alignment with the journal’s focus and scope
  • Compliance with author guidelines and formatting requirements
  • Absence of plagiarism (using plagiarism detection software)

Manuscripts that do not meet these criteria may be rejected without peer review or returned to authors for revision.

2. Editorial Assessment

The Editor-in-Chief or an assigned Section Editor evaluates the manuscript based on:

  • Originality and novelty
  • Relevance to multidisciplinary research
  • Academic significance

Only manuscripts that pass this stage proceed to the peer review process.

3. Double-Blind Peer Review

  • Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent reviewers
  • Reviewers are selected based on their expertise relevant to the manuscript topic
  • Both reviewers and authors remain anonymous

Reviewers evaluate manuscripts based on:

  • Scientific quality and methodological rigor
  • Clarity and coherence of presentation
  • Contribution to knowledge
  • Relevance and timeliness

4. Review Timeline

  • Initial screening: 3–7 days
  • Peer review process: 2–4 weeks
  • Revision by authors: 1–2 weeks

Note: Timelines may vary depending on reviewer availability and manuscript complexity.

5. Editorial Decision

Based on reviewers’ reports, the editorial decision will be one of the following:

  • Accept Submission
  • Minor Revision
  • Major Revision
  • Reject Submission

The Editor-in-Chief makes the final decision.

6. Revision Process

  • Authors must revise their manuscripts according to reviewer comments
  • Revised manuscripts must include a response-to-reviewers document
  • Revised manuscripts may be sent back to reviewers for further evaluation

7. Publication

Accepted articles are published online in the current issue and assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI) to ensure permanent accessibility.

8. Ethical Considerations in Review

  • Reviewers must maintain confidentiality
  • Reviews must be objective and constructive
  • Conflicts of interest must be declared
  • Any suspected ethical issues (e.g., plagiarism or data fabrication) must be reported to the editor

9. Transparency and Integrity

NGJMR ensures transparency in the peer review process and is committed to maintaining high ethical standards in scholarly publishing.

The journal is dedicated to providing a fair, unbiased, and timely peer review process to ensure the publication of high-quality scholarly work that contributes significantly to multidisciplinary knowledge.
